About Ferndale Pharmaceuticals Ltd

Ferndale Pharmaceuticals Ltd was created by a management led buy-out of a range of dermatology products from Adams Healthcare, Leeds, with backing from US healthcare company, Ferndale Pharma Group Inc, Michigan, which retains a 51 per cent stake in the business.

Since then, the business has grown by sales and marketing activity and the inward licensing of products from European and USA dermatology and dermo-cosmetic companies.

An early success saw our investment in the eczema treatment Hydromol pay off with its sale to AIM-listed, Alliance Pharmaceuticals in 2006 in a £3.25m deal.

Since then Ferndale has maintained its stable dermatology portfolio with products such as spot treatment Quinoderm which is available in most pharmacies and launched a new division AesthetiCare^®.

AesthetiCare^® was launched in 2007 to develop and market skincare products used by Aesthetic Professionals and their clients; they are used to enhance medical aesthetic procedures, to provide home use anti-ageing treatments and to combat specific aesthetic skin problems, such as dark circles, pigmentation and cellulite. The AesthetiCare^® range is developing rapidly with clinically effective, evidence based dermo-cosmetic products and aesthetic treatments.
